Sometimes I'm shocked at the tech subjects you seem to promote Etienne. I'll be shocked again if this ever gets finished considering the state of geopolitics in that region and beyond. Looks cool in a sci-fi sorta way and I know they are digging and constructing infrastructure but I've no doubt it will not be finished by the set goal of 2030 - which oddly coincides with Agenda2030. Living in such a structure would be interesting for a while until the inhabitants wake up to the fact that it is indeed a dystopian nightmare with every human action and move monitored 24/7. This project is the opposite of the Art of Liberty.

Totally agree Kurt, living in this luxurious prison away from nature, the inmates would be tearing each other to bits after a short while

definitely not promoting.. I just found it one of the most fascinating architectural designs of the past decade. I agree with wilsonson that it will be a luxurious prison as is the whole of Saudi Arabia.. maybe the inmates will have more freedom once we widely expose the illegitimacy and criminality of "government" worldwide which is my goal...

It was the "it's properly impressive" statement that through me. I've been following this project for some time and it seems to me to be an aesthetically beautiful high-tech surveillance prison. I'm sure there are millions who would love it - the sorts that retire to the Villages in FL with their phony town squares and theme restaurants all owned by the same family. Then again I was never a Disney or Cruise type either so maybe It's just me.
