As late as 2014, in the Persian study referenced in the article, gender identity disorder, or GID, was considered rare worldwide. They note in the introduction: "Lifetime prevalence varies from 0.001%-0.002% [5] to 0.0019%–0.0024%" Now 5% of US high school students are either full on GID, or questioning their gender.

This is a HUGE demographic outlier in 10 years time. While ubiquitous endocrine disruptors are a big concern, it would appear as if peer pressure and social media is a primary driver of the increase. It often is pointed out that kids with transgender friends start identifying as transgender as well. Their dysphoria is being cultivated by peers and the widespread grooming found online, and unfortunately by their teachers.

Unfortunately, the medical professionals that should be saying , "uh, no you're not" are cashing in on a lucrative bonanza that creates patients for life.

Absolutely heartbreaking. Young people should be almost wholesale - happy and curious with lots of vim and vigor to be on the road to their glorious futures. It's crushing that in every direction, things are inverted. The reason is simple, it is because there is an imbalance of the feminine. The feminine is not heard, women are not heard. Look around and women are not talking, they're staying behind, they're going along to get along. Eons of trauma and suppression has to take effort to reverse. The suicide rate of young ones is so disheartening. It's barely mentioned let alone set as an intention to make it right. So much to fix and that's because of the imbalance. Fix the imbalance and everything will fall into place. We'll be able to handle everything.
