as usual, scientists looking to understand and decode human consciousness and thought process are forever struggling to understand our innate complexity using the severely limited material paradigm. We are a vast interconnected timeless consciousness made up of billions upon billions of sentient interlinked nodal points of perception that easily and quite typically communicate faster than speed of light and can and do process vast amounts of information and sensory input with remarkable fluidity on a regular basis. It is trivial for an evolved conscious human being to discern the most optimum choice of actions in any given circumstance without "thinking" about the "task"- at all.
I am trying to learn Morse code these days. What is interesting is that to get proficient at it one must not listen for individual dits and days. The brain has to learn to combine the dots and dahs into sort of a music of notes for letters and eventually words become like little songs. There is a way to help the brain do this. It is called the Farnsworth Method. When learning random letters the letter's dit and days are played at a faster rate than the speed of the letters themselves. For instance I listen to individual letters at a rate of 21 words per minute but with enough time between letters to make the overall rate of listening only 9 wpm. Most people with practice can get to 20wpm. There are some who can commonly do 45wpm. And then there are competitions at "impossible" rates.
