Agreed. This fight was rigged. My only question is: was this meant to be a humiliation ritual for the boomers and gen x writ large to give way to the next generation and the era of manufactured reality? or was this just a money-making stunt by a con man and a man who recognized that the legacy he wanted to leave his kids was cash....
I really havn't followed boxing much until recently when I have more time on my hands as a newly minted useless eater. I can appreciate the boxing skill set and atheletism. And of course boxers all have their own personalities beyond their boxing skills. I would never go into the ring with anyone of them no matter how old they get or amount of money offered. They might hit me in my face. Ouch!
