I love the sound of this new movement and trust it doesn't lead to just another elite. Diversity is the way of nature, I hope they can see this and incorporate it into their policies. Having a city manager doesn't sound like a good thing, it sounds like the same old/same old. If they truly experimented and had the courage to do so, who knows what it may reveal - perhaps that we don't need no city managers. Perhaps we don't need no managers, period! It can be each individual who decides by each having the ability to make proposals and getting a vast majority to approve the proposal. This is not rocket science but it's funny how hierarchy is so imbued into the psyche.
So, if you want to live in a city without the FDA breathing down your neck, no cancel culture trying to take you out, and only want to eat beef, you're SOL, because you only get one option? 🤨😒
