In the UK as a result of economic theories that don't work, so many businesses of all sizes (except the very largest) closed down in the last three decades or so, and the cherry on top was the covid lockdown, which seems to suit the govern-gone-mental as they are busy turning closed down department stores into housing, all nice and near the massive number of 5G masts that went up in 2020.
