This may be a difficult concept to anchor into the brain but banning is something that is accepted that should not be accepted. Many are for it because it means banning poisons, weapons, dangerous things, etc.But no, that's not what results from it. What results from the acceptance of banning is that you will be banned from doing what you want to do at the whim of some head honcho somewhere in the world. That doesn't make sense. That does not make it safer for you and me. It make it safer for those who you allow to dictate your life to you. People need to get this word "ban" out of their mind. That is also the case with censorship. The antidote to all this is to uphold free speech. Banning is for dummies who want someone to coddle their thinking. Now it's got all the gun people in a tizz. We need to talk about alternative to banning.
