I worked for a Cuban for 12 years. At one point, Cubans were expected to fulfill their daily protein allotment with worm cakes. Imagine eating a mealworm cake from the bird food section at Lowes or Home Depot. Meanwhile, the government refused to let them fish in their own waters or grow gardens on their own property... and the soldiers and Cuban law enforcement upheld these insane laws while people starved.

In Cuba, when your relatives die you are permitted to "bury" them in a sarcophagus for one year. After that year, you have to personally show up and scrape the remaining rotted flesh off their bones, and then put their bones in a much smaller box for re-burial. Many Cubans consider the ritual "cleaning of the bones" to be a familial obligation. Others refuse to do it - usually after doing it once.

Cuban author Servando Gonzalez believes that Cuba is a pilot project for the subjugation of the USA. I can't disagree. He also proves that Castro was trained/co-opted/directed by the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). His book on the CFR is comprehensive...
