We hear a lot these days that our populations are getting way too much of the pro inflammatory Omega 6 fatty acids because they're in all the seed oils that have saturated our markets and diets. Best to stick to saturated fats mostly, found in animal products and coconut and palm oils. I use a little hemp seed oil as a garnish on rice and it has both essential fatty acids omega 6 and 3 in moderate quantities, and also another anti inflammatory fat, GLA.
