This is a perfect idea and they seem to have their logic in the right place. Just one thing - they are way over the size of sustainability in terms of government seeing them as too big and they could easily be wiped out - with a fire or something else that may look "natural". What is needed is for these villages to have a limit of say 150 people (the Dunbar Number) and when they reach that size, some volunteers start up another village based on a siimilar structure only it could be slightly different.

For example it may not be Christian based or it may include some other markers. So then each village will have its own "flavor" and uniqueness about it (thus "choice") and learn from each other in a mind network. We need small villages everywhere! That is the antidote to government vandalism.
