DTCC has declared its decision not to allocate any collateral to exchange-traded funds (ETFs) linked to Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, and will not extend loans against them.
This may be too "esoteric" for most people but loans of any kind only admit that the economy is stupidly constructed. It's all arbitrary but debt is so intensely embedded into our psyche it's very hard for most people to see this. Also if we need philanthropy at all it means the same thing - that the money system is designed in an absurd way. (It could be so much better for all of us without the debt which equals interest)
