Well, it is encouraging some Democrats want to find any common ground with the new administration, and with Trump's preference for negotiation, as opposed to whatever neocon war supporter is pulling Biden's strings, there might be common ground in cutting defense. It will certainly not be eliminated, but it may move to more unmanned drone and robotic fields of endeavor. it will still be a boondoggle.
