I quit smoking in 1982 when they went up to $1.00 a pack in the U.S. I was smoking 3 packs a day at the time and if I could quit, anyone can. Just take each day, each week as it comes and before you know it, 41 years pass without you smoking one cigarette. It's not easy when you're that addicted but it's do-able. Now I can't believe I used to be a smoker and only think of them if something passes my vision about them, like now. Now there's every reason not to smoke since we all know they're lethal, but they're also now lethal financially.
