As a federal worker (VA) x 25+ years, I can tell you that there is absolutely no documentation for any of this. No one in HR or administration knows anything other than what everyone gets in an email blast. You do not receive anything in documentation once you say ‘resign.’ Employees may also wind up high and dry with that. 🤷‍♀️

Are the federal worker unions promising these federal employees anything that might make them think twice about accepting an 8-mo severance package? They might wind up being left high-n-dry and unemployed.
