He has managed to raise money for his attorney fees, but he has not received donations to his GiveSendGo account for over a year and has run out of money for commissary to use the phone or buy food, they told TGP on a call Thursday. They described food served in the jail as inedible and rotten and they resort to Ramen, bags of chips, and packages of refried beans for nourishment.
“It cost money to use the phone it cost money to feed ourselves the commissary — I can only imagine what kind of bills he has in his own life that he still has to keep up. These lawyers accept the donations but the J6er is left out to dry, in Rhodes’ case specifically,” an inmate said.
