I have tangled with them a few times over the last 10 years to try to get them to just list the f-ing UCC on their website where we can see it, and stop playing legal gods enacting soft law with no oversight. They never call me or e-mail me back and I have to be very assertive with them.
No shit on the garden. I can grow very sour cherry tomatoes anywhere with the help of birds. My onions are huge but they've been in there for almost 3 years, flowered once, and I don't know if I should harvest them or not. We're friends now. I've been regrowing beets from the tops and pineapples (I have a greenhouse). I'm a gardening failure really, and I'm supposed to be making a community garden here.
