The Trump administration is consolidating the familiar machinery of terror of all authoritarian states. We must resist now. If we wait, it will be too late.
I don’t know, this narrative is a chaos narrative- I smell a trap. There are so many reasons to protest and yet this one murder (if it was real), is our rally cry? Unfortunately our plight is soo much worse. Murders, starvation, disease, on a mass scale every day by the same progenitors of ICE. And we’re powerless to stop it….the infrastructure was built 40 years ago. Don’t get distracted, keep your head on, rebel in the way it hurts them the most. Stop using the systems they created to track you, detox the tech, involve in parallel systems, learn how to critically think and feel, create safe harbor for dissidents, talk to your neighbors and help others opt out- while they still can. This is a long haul, and it’s a sunami- they have no problem rounding us all up- don’t give them the satisfaction. Silently, calmly exit stage left in every possible way. Just to be sure you all remember Black Lives Matter? What are we being distracted from? 6G roll out? AI deployment? Digital money? Oh yeah, it gets way worse than cold blooded murder I’m sorry to say. Pharma has been sanctioned to kill covertly for decades. Be smarter.
I'll never forget the podcast of Chris Hedges at a book signing in New York. He finished his talk and started taking questions. An older man very respectfully asked him, what he thought we should do about all the horrors he was describing... and he was a deer in the headlights.
Chris Hedges is a brilliant writer and right about everything he writes about. BUT. Chris Hedges is a gatekeeper on certain topics. Like all journalists who made their bones in war reporting - he doesn't EVER touch the Global Financial Elites. He doesn't try to trace the atrocities and conflicts he writes about all the way back to their origins in the central banking community which serves the Global Financial Elites..
Being endlessly exhorted to protest against all this totalitarian villany hasn't worked for Chris Hedges' entire lifetime - so why is he STILL telling us to do it? It doesn't fucking work. Look at all the protesting going on in Europe since 2020 - and their protests are massive. Germany still arrested a ton of people and Reiner Fuellmich as political prisoners... and is getting worse. The Israeli's protested Netanyahu in the streets for 39 weeks straight - and that didn't stop the Gaza genocide for vacation real estate.
Until Mr. Hedges starts exposing the REAL big picture, AND providing real suggestions about how to change things, I'm not buying any more of his books. I have had enough of the 'what is ness," and I can't believe he thinks we're going to vote our way out of this...
