So special interest groups fought to stop the referendum hmm? But it still went ahead. And, to everyone's surprise 78% of the voters wanted to keep property taxes. Well that shows me at least that the vote is rigged. Why would they tell the truth about the number of votes when they are cheats, fraudsters and outright liars? How can it be proved that the vote results were accurate? I don't believe any vote counts that are connected to government. People think government count the vote accurately when they lie about everything else? I bet they made a deal to have the referendum only to make it look like the people voted for it. I bet this happens all the time.
