Retired fire captain Matt Dakin analyzed California’s Paradise fire and described that it was similar to fire when metal is put inside of a microwave oven. He compared it to the recent fires in Maui. Forensic arborist Robert Brames explained the burn patterns of recent fires are very unusual as tree leaves, twigs and branches did not burn, but buildings were destroyed down to white ash. He said that he thinks the fires were caused by satellites due to the focus on certain areas for hours; he based his conclusion on evidence he has collected from numerous fires, including the Maui fires.

Dakin gave other examples of anomalies of recent fires: bathroom toilets usually withstand fires, but were instead destroyed and trees burned from inside and then burned down to their roots. He indicated that it was suspicious that Paradise property owners were kept away from their homes.

.Forensic arborist Robert Brame, a botanist for over four decades and arborist for 20 years, took 107 trips to 38 fire aftermaths over the past 7 years, mostly in California and Oregon; He says that only 3 out of 38 of the fires were normal forest fires. Based on the evidence he has collected, including the Maui fires, he said that he thinks the fires were caused by satellites due to the focus on certain areas for hours. He explained how boats that were anchored 80′ to 100′ in the harbor could burn. He said that the only way to stop the fires is to educate the public and oppose those who are setting off the fires.
The Air Force Maui Optical and Supercomputing (AMOS) site is on Maui, as is the Maui Space Surveillance System, the “Vanguard Center of DoD High Performance Computing,” that are affiliated with microwave systems.
