Very informative. The case against excessive consumption of Linoleic acid is persuasive. A couple of other considerations are that corn and soy oil are the most popular and cheap so accounts for some of the over consumption and that both are industrially extracted. The industrial extraction requires use of dangerous chemicals, residue of which remain in the oil, and extreme heat. These processes alter the molecular structure compromising functionality. Any oil subjected to these processes is a hazard to health. Seed oil is a deceptive term as any source including fruits is unhealthy if extracted industrially. Only mechanical extraction is always to be preferred, 'cold pressed' usually is the term to describe this.
