Even moderate alcohol drinking increases your risk for vascular brain lesions by 60% compared to non-drinkers, challenging long-held beliefs about safe consumption levels
Alcohol is a poison. However, I'm having a hard time with the statistics cited here: if 40% of the teetotalers showed the damage that 44% of the moderate tipplers had, that isn't the massive effect claimed in the text.
Also wondering about why Alzheimers has so exploded in recent decades. Drinking hasn't increased to that degree, but exposure to other neurotoxins sure has.
There should be complete awareness of this in a world where it is repeatedly encouraged in all forms of media, but most people are woefully unaware of the dangers of alcohol use.
On top of the PFAS and fluoride chemicals?? Oh joy. Glad I pretty much gave up alcohol.
