Disinformation Watchdog Group Hides Its Donor List that Is Funded by the US Government
The Disinformation Index is hiding its donor list, claiming it is exempt because they could be harassed;

The Global Disinformation Index, DisinformationIndex.org, a British entity, claims to “disrupt the model of disinformation,” but Jimmy Dore says that they blacklist conservative news and discourage advertisers’ support. Max Blumenthal said that Disinformation Index’s partners and funders include the British Foreign Office, the European Union, Pierre Omidyar’s Illuminate, the National Endowment for Democracy that sponsors color revolutions and regime change, Craigslist founder Craig Newmark, Soros’ Open Society and more. Blumenthal said that the organization is a government front. The Disinformation Index is hiding its donor list, claiming it is exempt because they could be harassed; it is ironic that the organization is at the same time harassing conservative news outlets by taking away their funding.
Republican Representative Ken Buck said that American taxpayers have the right to know the makeup of the organization that impinged upon their free speech as the intent is tp shut down disfavored speech. Buck discovered that the US State Department and the government-backed national Endowment for Democracy granted $665,000 to the Global Disinformation Index between 2020 and 2021.

Oracle says it will no longer collaborate with the Global Disinformation Index (GDI) after the company was mentioned in a lawsuit against the GDI blacklisting conservative media.
The Gateway Pundit discussed GDI in recent articles on the website. Global Disinformation is an industry for the radical globalist left. Several organizations today are working to censor and silence outlets with honest and accurate conservative content.
On April 7, TGP shared a report from investigative journalist Bob Bishop regarding the Global Disinformation Index. Bishop wrote:
The public is awakening to social media censorship (Twitter and Facebook) and the extreme bias of prominent media outlets (i.e., the New York Times) promoting and supporting the Federal and state governments’ narratives and totalitarian behavior. An emerging and highly destructive new strategy is “blacklisting” independent conservative media to defund them of advertising revenue, leading to their financial demise.
