I think the main argument against capital punishment is that the jury may be wrong about the facts and convict an innocent. And, as everyone knows, there is no way to undo the hanging. In some cases, the jury, a jury from the people not from the government, becomes a collective murderer and deserves hanging too, according to its own axioms.

Hhhhmmmmmm.

Maybe we could use AI to make a choice to hang them or not, and we can wash our hands from this difficult dilemma. No one would complain. It's high tech morality!
