ALL oils that are liquid at room temperatures should not be consumed. Even organically produced, cold-pressed oils, from non-GMO seeds, stored in glass containers, are subject to rapid oxidation - making them toxic.

Note that even olive oil was historically used in lamps & on skin and hair, and eaten only in times of famine. In ancient records ad writings from the Mediterranean region, the fat of lambs and pork was among the most highly prized foods.

The molecular structure that makes oils liquid also makes them subject to oxidation damage. When consumed, a chemical chain-reaction creates oxidation damage to the fats that are part of every organ, tissue, and cell of our bodies.

This also includes flax seed oil, aka linseed oil. Depending on several factors, only a few percent to NONE of it can be converted by the human body to the essential EPA or DHA forms. In addition to wild caught fatty fish, like anchovies and sardines - egg yolks, whole fat milk products & butter, and meats from animals on pasture provide these essential Omega 3s in the right form to build and maintain our brains.

Omega 6 fatty acids are also essential, but in small amounts, which are found in al animal fat, so we do not need to seek these.

Fatty acids, and cholesterol, are ESSENTIAL for Life - and are part of the structure of every cell in our bodies. The protective sheaths around our nerves, several important hormones (signaling molecules), and our BRAINS are made mostly of fats, and ~30% cholesterol.

Dr. Paul Mason's presentation on cholesterol explains -

Wikipedia references should be checked, but non-politicized topics tend to have accurate information..

Plant oils which are solid at room temperature - coconut and palm oils - resist oxidation. However, they lack some of the essential fat-soluable vitamins that animal fats provide. Liquid or solid, plant oils contain phyto-sterols which resemble cholesterol closely enough to replace it in cellular structures, affecting their function.

Dr. Paul Mason present the evidence that recommendations to avoid animal-source fats was never supported by actual science.

Fats from animals raised on the land, eating their natural diet are best- but even fat from animals from the Industrial Corporate Food Complex is a better choice than any plant oil, with coconut oil a much better choice than any other plant oil.

More and more I find myself telling people I speak with in the grocery store that everything in there is toxic...
